Founder Albert “AL-B” Hannemann played professional beach volleyball for 18 years. He is a former Olympic Festival Gold Medalist, U.S. Open Champion, Hermosa Beach Open Champion, founder of the National Volleyball League Professional Beach Volleyball Tour, and managing director of the Beach Agency Group.
What sets AL-B apart is his years of producing top-notch branding opportunities, hospitality, event management and production around the globe. He is also the visionary behind 30 year international business Volleyball Vacations, the ever popular corporate fantasy camps around the world. These events have expanded to now working with businesses creating custom incentive trips with celebrity sports icons and experts in various fields. In addition, his loyal brand relationships help create consistent unique activations elevating each event's overall experience.
Hannemann invests a tremendous amount of energy promoting health and nutrition to children across the country. In 2012, he founded the 501c3 PlayFIT Foundation and continues to help youth from underserved communities through nutrition education and physical fitness through sports.
As a graduate of the University of Hawaii where he was Student-Athlete of the Year and an Academic All-American. Albert enjoys his samurai swords, dominos, pairing wine with his favorite foods, traveling anywhere with his family, coaching whenever possible, green flash sunsets, and making a shit ton of magic happen.
